Cassandra C. Stirling is an author and development editor. She loves helping writers find their voices and share their thoughts with the world. Her passion for her job is right up there with writing her own books. Her entire career, from law to publishing to online marketing and back again to publishing, focused entirely on language and the best way to use it. You could say she circled around that question until she reached the heart of it. It happened in 2020. After years of telling her husband that if you asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she’d say a writer, she finally got an answer from him she didn’t expect. “But you’re not a writer. You don’t write,” he said truthfully. “You don’t get to decide that. Only I do,” she replied. And then she did, by writing her debut urban fantasy novel, The Deep Space Between, with more books in the series to come.

When she’s not writing or working, she is either cross-stitching, renovating her 92-year-old house with her husband, avoiding gardening by playing videogames on her self-built PC - WoW, Dragon Age, Final Fantasy, SWOTOR are her favs, reading one or more books, watching tech or book YouTubers, traveling (eventually) and generally figuring out how to fit all of her life into the 17 hours a day she’s not sleeping.
